Prints for the Spa
For Alicia – here are the ones we talked about today as the possible first set. And here are some other possibilities to swap in or print up later:
La Purisima Mission
I signed up for the CLL’s new class, Location Photo Shoots with a Pro, as a way to get out shooting close to home and gain some insights from another photographer’s perspective. Our first class meeting was Saturday at the La Purisima Mission. We were there on a living history day, so there were knowledgable and engaging re-enactors there as well as lots of activity to observe and photograph. Here are my favorite shots from the morning.
Thailand Portfolio Candidates
Posting these for Donna, so we can take a look at them when we talk. I’d like to get this set down to about 12 images to print for this portfolio.
Two Possible Sets
After looking at the candidates with Dan, he suggested two groupings, ‘Arches and Doorways,’ and ‘Stonework.’ Here’s a tighter edit for each of these two groups. Arches and Doorways Stonework
Candidates for Seeing in Sixes
Getting ready to submit to the Lenswork Seeing in Sixes book project. Here are the images I’m considering. Top Contenders Other Candidates
First Picks from Japan
I’ve been working hard to get my photos organized since we got back from Japan a couple of weeks ago. There’s lots more to do, but here are a few that jumped out in my first review.
Carrot Harvest
While I was visiting my parents last week, my brother harvested his carrots from the garden. After lots of effort building raised beds and nurturing them all summer, they were a bit disappointing. None of these is more than 2-1/2″ long. I think they’re adorable, but I think he was digusted with them.
Monarch on Pink
At the Butterflies Alive exhibit at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
Bleeding Hearts in a Row
Taken in my front yard with my new 100mm Canon USM Macro lens. 🙂
